RS Scan Biomechanical Evaluation System

We now have the Rs Scan Footscan System.

This revolutionary computer aided equipment's high sampling speed enables the detection of subtle changes in the mechanics of the foot allowing the most accurate analysis of data and prescription of orthotics. 

It uses pressure measurement information collected from the footscan plate and analysed using software provided by the Quintic Consultancy.

If you suffer from problems with yourANKLES, KNEES, HIPS or BACK they could all relate to the BIOMECHANICAL functioning of your FEET.

Barefoot pressure measurements for both feet can be collected so that a true representation of pressure distribution under the foot can be established.

Pressure data can also be collected while the patient is wearing their preferred footwear /orthotics so that the influence of both may be compared to the biomechanics of their barefoot gait.

The collected data is analysed and the significant findings can be visually presented to the patient with recommendations. A hard copy can be given to the patient for their perusal.

The resultant data will be e-mailed to the 'lab' to allow the orthotics to be manufactured and made available to the patient in the quickest time possible.

Once they are produced the orthotics can be fitted and if required additional presssure measurements can be collected to show the patient the changes that are taking place due to the orthotics action.
